Back at home

After missing church for almost a month, I'm finally back in church, the church where I grew up. I was super excited to go back and meet everyone as I've not announced my return to anyone! As expected, everyone's jaws dropped when they saw me loitering around *ngek ngek* XD XD

I still remember vividly, during my first few weeks in Leeds, I'd tear up whenever I go to Sunday service thinking of my church, the prayer Rev Dr Yu said for me the day I left, the familiar faces who offered me hugs and words of encouragement and everything else.

Today, I realised how much I miss LCCC when I started to feel down during praise and worship, even though we were singing songs like Celebrate, Jesus Celebrate, God is Good and Shine, Jesus Shine. But I tried as hard as I could to hold everything back by remembering the great things God had done for me for the past whole year, and tried to praise Him with all my heart. Even during scripture reading, the passage being read was what we learnt during one of the bible study sessions and it all came back to me. Everything was so clearly etched in my mind. However, I believe that although I'm in a different surrounding now,my journey with Him will only get better in the years to come, coz as long as I ask, He will provide.

Anyways, I had a great time catching up with the peeps in church, although most of them weren't there. Went out for a minum teh session with the most 'unusual suspects' - J and E aka the 'Lala of the Lalas', whom I havent met for donkey years (coz they always ponteng church!) Finally, got to enjoy my first mamak since my return. I was really looking forward to it, but my heart sank when the anneh announced that my all time fave-roti pisang- SUDAH HABIS LAAA..AMOI! Sigh, have to settle with roti telur..without bawang lagi :S

Headed home when the clock striked 12, and started video-chatting with my babe cum CGL...she's just got her backside back in KL..*what a disaster*. ooohh..and she demanded me to blog about her :s There you go, a sneak peak of our hatred-filled conversation.

Home Sweet Home

Yoohooo~
I'm back home in KL after spending more than 10 months in Leeds!!
I'm seriously EXHAUSTED!! coz instead of taking time to rest, I spent most of my time watching in-flight movies throughout my 13-hour flight, hur hur..

Didnt had much time to rest for the past few weeks due to all the travelling, shopping, graduation, packing, bla bla.. so it'll definitely be sweet to stay home for the next few days to recharge before I head out and meet my kakis for some food-whacking! XD

Loads of photos to be uploaded..but not now i guess *yawn*
